Grand Traditions: In Celebration of Grandparents

            In September 2006 ParentsCAN hosted its first ever fundraising event.  The goal for the event was twofold – to raise funds to directly support Napa County families of children with disabilities and celebrate grandparents on Grandparents Day weekend. 

            Families of children with disabilities here in Napa County face many unique challenges and make heroic efforts to support their children at home where they can grow to their potential.  There are over 2,700 children with disabilities in Napa County.  Grandparents often play a critical role in enabling these families to stay together and provide what their family needs ...so we wanted to celebrate them!
                       

            Join us as we celebrate our third annual event ! 

Grand Traditions: In Celebration of Grandparents 2008 Thursday, September 18, 2008 Beginning at 6 p.m. The Meritage Resort at Napa This special event features: Wine and Hors d”Ouvres Reception Elegant Dinner paired with Napa Valley Wines Grandparent of the Year Award presented to Warren and Barbara Winiarski Live and Silent Auctions Instant Wine Library Raffle Dance Music by the Volker Strifler Band Tickets $120 per person.
