How we can help

By contacting ParentsCAN, you’re taking the first step toward finding more support for your family. The majority of our staff are parents of children with disabilities themselves who understand what you are experiencing and are ready to help you and your child. By working with us you can:

•Increase your knowledge of your child’s condition or disability.

•Improve your awareness of the services available in the community that meet your child’s special needs.

•Connect with other parents who have children with special needs and understand you.

•Understand and meet your child’s developmental needs.

•Communicate more effectively with professionals.

•Enhance your current parenting skills.

•Understand your child’s behavior and how to implement positive behavior interventions.

•Effect positive change in your community.
